My Fiancé took me here the night after he proposed and I couldn't think of a better place to celebrate. The staff went above and beyond to make this night out a special occasion for us. Everything we had was incredible, but the French dip was one of the highlights of our night. Also, we both have a sweet tooth and had both the cheesecake and the toasted marshmallow gelato both to die for. My fiancé talks about the gelato all the time. Highly recommend the 130 club for any occasion!!! Best food, drinks, and service we have had in NJ! We cannot wait to go back.
I went for the first time last night and the night started off very rocky. Upon arriving I had to use the restroom and the soap squirted all over my shirt turning me into a soapy mess. The girl at the front was very apologetic and the beverage director, Collin came to the rescue. He too was very apologetic and could not have been more kind and accommodating. The place was very cool! We ended up sitting in the dining room in a very comfortable booth that was private, but also gave us a nice view of the dining room. I loved the fact the dining room was small and intimate and did not fit many guests. The decor was cool and the vibe made me feel like I was in a speakeasy from a different time. The drinks were delicious. My husband does not usually like an old fashioned out. He loved the ones that the bartender made. They were perfect. The food was also delicious! I had the scallops (my only complaint is I feel 3 or 4 is a serving. I got 2). I loved the green goddess sauce and how they were prepared. I had the Branzino and charred broccoli which was perfection. My husband was just as happy with his dish. He had the shrimp cocktail and the 22 oz aged rib eye. For dessert we had the banana sorbet. Perfect end to a delicious dinner. Gaby was also a perfect waitress. She was great at her job and we liked her service. The place also has a cigar bar. Cool spot with wonderful food & service. We will go back and you should try it!
Although quite pricey, The 130 Club delivers! From the unique Caesar salad (easily enough for 3 people), to perfectly prepared steak and lamb chops, my wife's birthday dinner was a memorable event. And what I especially appreciated was the relaxed and intimate atmosphere, as well as the attentive service. We'll be back!

I loved the ambiance at the 130 Club, it gave speakeasy vibes and was nice and intimate. The service is amazing and top tier. The food was also delicious as well! For dinner we had the side of carrots, truffle baked mac and cheese, burger and cacio e pepe. The Mac and cheese was my favorite and I loved the truffle flavors! The burger also looked delicious and was cut at the table which was a fun experience. The bacon was also very tasty! The Cacio e Pepe wasn't my favorite. It tasted like ramen flavored cacio e pepe was the sauce wasn't thick it was buttery noodles instead of cheesy like how it's typically served. I was pretty disappointed about this. For dessert we had the warm brownie with marshmallow gelato and that was the perfect way to end the night!
